I shot a fabulous wedding in Narbeth earlier this year, the stunning wild flowers that adorned the tables in vases made from what looked like real tree bark, were truly a delight to behold. One of the guest made the most splendid cup cakes that I have ever tasted too.

Thank you
Received a lovely thank you card from Mr & Mrs Jenkins. It’s little things like this that make this job so enjoyable. Firstly I get to meet lots of great people and share one of the biggest days of their life. When you are in the midst of the day, stressing to ensure you get all the moments, making sure you back everything up. And making sure the happy couple are, well happy ! A card like this reassures you that it’s all worth the effort.
Really I am the one who should be doing the thanking, so thank you Mr & Mrs Jenkins for choosing me to photograph your wedding.

New Website
I have been really bad lately and have not been posting to my blog and neglecting my website. So I am purging my mind of procrastination guilt and have been busy writing up some new blog posts and also changed the layout of the website and the hosting provider. I felt that my previous provider was very slow in serving my pages. I am hoping that the website’s new home is going to prove to be a quicker experience for you ! Please let me know in the comments whether you notice a difference.
As for photography, there’s been lots going on in the last few months, most of which I am unable to share until later in the year. What I can say is that I have been working on some really cool projects and they will make for some interesting reading.
So for now let me know what you think of the new look website and its new home.

The Wife
This is actually a photograph of my wife! Before you all think I am mad taking my own wedding photographs, let me explain.
We got married 3 years ago, and the photographs that we had taken at the time, were a bit of a disappointment. Now you might be asking how on earth did I allow that to happen. Well the year I got married is the year I picked up my first proper camera. So I was still very naive and just went with the same photographer that my sister had.
She didn’t do a terrible job, but there were a lot of photographs where I my suit arm had risen up my shirt sleeve and I had this big killer cuff in the majority of our portrait shots. So to cut a long story short we decided that we get dressed up and take some new photographs, with the help of my good buddy Mr Simon Potter his good lady wife Natalie and there little dog Roxy
So we decided we would like some photo’s on the beach, so i packed the van with all my gear and met the Potters down at Oxwich bay.
I tell you get some looks jumping outta the drivers seat of a Black VW transporter van in sharp suite, and even funnier looks when you open the door for you wife who;s sitting in the back and jumps out in full on wedding dress. People must have been thinking we were right cheap skates driving ourselves about on our wedding day.
After initially feeling very self concious we both relaxed and got into the swing of things. I set up some lights and nailed down the settings in manual, and then Mr Potter snagged some cracking shots of the both of us, and nice portrait of me which you can see on the about me page.
I did get in on the action too and it was really awesome to be able to shoot photograph my wife, which is a novelty in itself, but to get to photograph her in her wedding dress looking absolutely stunning was really cool.
So a month or so later I finally get my arse around to printing some of these shots, and they are now pride of place on our wall.
So a big thank you to Mr & Mrs P , and to Roxy dog too
