Last September I was asked to be Lisa and Gavin’s documentary wedding photographer at Trefloyne Manor in Pembrokeshire. A really lovely couple, who were so very nice. Thats one of the best things about this job, you really do get to meet some nice people.
I have never shot a wedding at Trefloyne Manor before, a family run affair, its a beautiful old Manor house which has had some love and attention from the Beynon family. The result is really wonderful country hotel, restaurant and golf course nestled in the beautiful Pembrokeshire landscape.
The day started off at Lisa’s family holiday home in Tenby, where there was lots going on with lots of family bustling about, bridesmaids & flower girls having make up and hair done, parents wrestling with toddlers, all great stuff for a documentary wedding photographer.
Then I headed off to meet Gavin at St Nicholas Church, Penally for the ceremony, and then onto Trefloyne for the reception, but not before seeing them off in the wedding car, which had the old tradition of empty cans tied to the back of the car, something you don’t see enough of these days.
If you are looking for wedding photography at Trefloyne Manor, or anywhere in Pembroke please don’t hesitate to contact me and we can discuss your documentary wedding photographer
